Access to information of Family Farming on Web

The use of the Web brings opportunities for businesses to publicize your business broadly and for consumers to obtain information about products and services with greater agility.

The CoDAF Portal (a website developed by the extension project Digital Skills for Family Farming from UNESP – Univ Estadual Paulista) stands as a digital information environment that focuses on dissemination of information about Family Farming, providing a space for small producers to make available its content about their production.

The objective of this study is to analyze the informational demands of consumers in relation to content available through websites focused on disseminating information to specific audiences. Therefore, it sought to identify data provided by CoDAF Portal and link its main attributes with consumer information needs, that looking for products specifically of Family Farming.

The chosen methodology is bordered by a qualitative analysis, exploratory, which were applied two types of data collection: first, executed at CoDAF Portal to identify of data attributes present in its content; and second, conducted through the application of questionnaires among consumers in a free market place, considered common place for small producers to sale their products.

The results may be used as a parameter to improve availability process in CoDAF Portal, highlighting information considered more important for a decision-making, and to the development of technologies that focus on specific segments in data dissemination.
