Information and Technology in ENANCIB: Trends of GT #08

The scientific development established between areas of knowledge has as main characteristic the activities developed by the scientific community, which is set for the research activities and collective research groups, in an individually way. Analyzes are performed through indicators on science and technology that provide measures about some aspects identified in the scientific literature.

The aim of this research is to study aspects involved in enhanced publication context, especially for cases of thesis and dissertations and several documents that became part of the new range of elements of these results, providing subsidies for the development of a conceptual basis to support proposals to structures of gathering, storage and retrieval of this new set of documents that compose thesis and dissertations, from concepts already established in Information Science. Environments for access to government data, via Information Technologies and Communications, may expand possibilities for citizen monitoring, providing feedback for future demands.

The objective of this study is to present a proposal for a multidimensional model that allows the creation of different access points to unique government’s data set, using the Data Warehouse concept, anticipating future data access demands.
